Did you know? The etymology of the word Kefta comes from the Persian “kufta” which means “to chop”. Kefta generally refers to minced meatballs (beef or lamb), widely cooked in the countries of North Africa, the Middle East but also the Balkans. The spices which have always been used to flavor these meatballs have gradually taken the name of the Kefta mixture.
